Worship is the centerpiece of our congregational life. It is both the most routine thing that we do and the most special thing that we do. It is the occasion when we are all together as a church family, and it is the occasion when we most deliberately enter into the presence of God. We treasure our times of singing, preaching and praying together week after week, and we invite you to join us for worship.
First Church offers many opportunities for each of us to grow in our Christian relationships. From educational activites to fellowship events, occasions for prayer, and our Caring Ministries Program, we provide opporunities for young and old to know the Lord and each other.
One of the important things that we are called to do as a congregation is to reach beyond our walls in Christian service. The members and staff of First Church participate in countless outreach and mission projects, both locally and around the world. We are truly blessed to be able to support God's work in so many ways!

Haiti Earthquake Relief
The most pressing need is for cash to buy and distribute relief supplies. Make checks payable to the First United Methodist Church and write Haiti Relief - UMCOR Advance #418325 in the memo line. All donations will be forwarded to the United Methodist Committee on Relief, the United Methodist Church's-internationally respected relief organization.
